Happy, professional Vancouver family looking for great full-time AuPar or live-in Nanny! (CanadianNanny.ca) - Vancouver, British Columbia (BC)
(Child Care) We are a warm, relaxed professional couple in our 40's with two young children, Mateo aged 5 and Amelie ('Mimi') aged 3, and one mature medium-sized friendly dog (Luna). I (Eric) was born in Canada and raised on the west coast, and has been self-employed for 14 years as a Realtor. My wife (Johanna) is Colombian, and has been in Canada for 20yrs- she is a Sr. Project Manager at a major consulting firm. Our work schedules can vary: I am often working from home, Johanna mostly works in the office, though works from home 1 and sometimes 2 days a week. We live a fun, active lifestyle, and love to take advantage of our spectacular city for all its multicultural and nature benefits. Our kids go to pre-school on weekday mornings, and are enrolled in a few extracurricular activities as well (piano, soccer, gymnastics, swimming, etc.). With my wife being a very successful immigrant and both of us being 'globally minded', we have a keen interest in being part of a progressive young person's journey to expand their horizons... so, being able to provide responsible, fun care for our kids, at the same time as accomplishing that, would be a thrill. We live in a fantastic ocean-side corner of Richmond, about 20 minutes drive from central Vancouver, with plans to move to Vancouver in the summer (bringing our Au Pair or Nanny with us!). With parks, ocean, community centres, and a 'Village' feel surrounding us, it's a great lifestyle. Vancouver, where we both lived for much longer prior to Richmond and are moving back to by July 1st, will be even more vibrant. Every(week)day life involves breakfast together, then Mom often off to the office and Dad working upstairs or off to appointments. Days can vary greatly in terms of how much either of us are around. The kids go to pre-school in the morning, then either go to a scheduled activity after lunch or some other fun plan (nanny/aupair or parent planned) After that, anything can happen, but generally dinner together around 6!Rough timetable would generally be a consistent 7:30am start, M-F, working consistently till the kids are dropped at pre-school. We are hoping to have someone willing to assist with general house cleaning and some cooking, and a few errands. We understand that the fit is a two way street. With our unpredictable schedule, we definitely need flexibility, but can also offer flexibility as well. We would love to have a relationship where we are very comfortable inviting our Nanny/Au Pair on getaway trips, etc.. Some advantages would be access to a vehicle at times, access to a bicycle, private room and bathroom, internet, tv, quite healthy and tasty food, very easy kids to deal with (both are amiable, well-behaved, lots of fun), very helpful/warm host family, former ESL teacher (me), native Spanish speaker with a huge heart (Johanna). Laid Back Nerds Seek Rad Nanny for Two Little Monkeys! (CanadianNanny.ca) - Vancouver, British Columbia (BC)
(Child Care) Hey there! We are looking for a nanny for a nanny share in downtown Vancouver to start at the beginning of March (technically Feb 27th onward) for two little dudes. Ours will be an easygoing 1 year old and is full of hilarious personality, while the other will be 3 months younger. My husband and I are chill tech industry nerds living in the West End, while the other family also works downtown. The share will take place at their Coal Harbour apartment close to Stanley Park, the community centre, and the seawall! We're laid back and not looking for Mary Poppins (although if you consider yourself a superstar we'll definitely take it! And if you spontaneously burst into song every now and again, or have a background in music, all the better!). Basically we would need a full time nanny for one child (5 days a week) and then the other child would join in on Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday. We're just looking for someone to keep an eye on our monkeys, plus take them to some baby-friendly activities (community centre play time, the park, library time, that kind of thing). Light lunch prep and snacks would be involved, and some light tidying, but no deep cleaning or preparing 5 course meals or anything like that - mostly just fun and focusing on the kids! You should be comfortable with large excited dogs - but no dog walking would be required unless you were keen to help out. First Aid is required! Looking forward to hearing from you! (Child Care) We are a family of four, seeking a full time live-in nanny for our girls who will be age 1 and 3. We are seeking a start date of mid August -early Sept 2017, for one year. Our kids are happy and easy going and will give you lots of laughs. They love spending days at the beach, in the forest, at the park, at playgroups, and reading and making art. We both work unusual and unpredictable schedules ( as a midwife and a physician), so require someone willing to be on call and able to work evenings, weekends, and some nights. The schedule is 10 days on, where you would be on call some of the time and compensated accordingly, and working approximately 40 hours a week. Overtime paid if required. Then you would have 10 days off, with additional hours available if you desire, but scheduled rather than on call. We are an active family and live near a beautiful waterway where you can canoe and kayak, also near a forested park with a creek, within a short walk to groceries, shops, library, cafe, skating, cinema, and mall. Also directly on a bus route, 10 minutes to downtown. The nanny would have their own bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen downstairs (currently rented as a 1 bedroom suite with own entrance). We can't have any smokers or pets in our house. We do require live in (unless you can get to us within 10 minutes, day or night!) as some nights if my husband is working and I am called to work we need a caregiver within minutes so that I can go attend a labour. The living quarters are spacious, clean, and private. We hope to find a responsible and fun nanny who is willing to work a flexible schedule. Some cleaning and cooking required. License and vehicle would be an asset but not required. We would like some experience catering young children. First Aid and CPR also required. Housekeeper/Mother's Helper Position Available - Nanny Wanted (CanadianNanny.ca) - Kelowna, British Columbia (BC)
(Child Care) Hello. We are a small family of 3 with myself, my husband and our 8 year old daughter. I have health issues that fluctuate in severity and we are looking for someone who can help us primarily with housecleaning, meal preparation and laundry. We may at times require help with driving our daughter to her after school activities but this would be rare and at times we may require help with picking up groceries. We were also hoping to find a responsible individual that may at times be able to care for our daughter on the occasional evening, or once there has been some trust and bonding in place perhaps over an occasional weekend. We live on a beautiful acreage in South Kelowna and have a medium sized labradoodle so our ideal candidate would also love dogs and be willing to take him on an occasional walk! There is no bus service to our area of town so we require someone with a vehicle. I follow an autoimmune diet and we are looking for someone who would be comfortable following recipes and looking up recipes on the internet. We are hoping to find someone with some flexibility as at times we may require more hours and some weeks we may require less. However we would be able to guarantee that each week you would be paid for a set minimum of hours ( we were thinking 20 hours but are flexible on this) and then paid for any extra hours that may be agreed upon in addition to the base hours. I look forward to hearing from you! Please visit www.canadiannanny.ca to view full details and to apply. FREE REGISTRATION and lots of jobs to choose from!

Need nanny Tuesday and Thursdays must have own car with full licence (CanadianNanny.ca) - Coquitlam, British Columbia (BC)
(Child Care) I need a nanny Tuesdays and Thursdays 8 until 530. I will pay $130 per day plus 2 weeks vacation. I have two boys. One is aged 6 and goes to school 9 to 3 and one is aged 3 and goes to preschool 915 to 1:15 . I would require light cleaning consisting of cleaning kitchen and tidying toys and vacuuming living room and play room and meal prep for kids. This should take less than 2 hours total and my youngest is in preschool 4 hours so you have lots of down time. You must have a car and full licence as their schools are too far to walk. You must not have an N licence. On occasion my husband travels or work and I would require the nanny to come at 645am but on those days I would pay 150 per day. Part-time Nanny (live-out) - 4 day week (CanadianNanny.ca) - Vancouver, British Columbia (BC)
(Child Care) We are looking for someone to be part of our team to raise a grounded, confident and respectful girl. On a basic front, we need someone to come to our home, be able to dress, feed and put our daughter to sleep for her nap. We also need some light housework doing such as laundry, vacuuming and food preparation for both our daughter and for the family evening meals. We anticipate that our daughter will attend some form of preschool for a few days a week in September 2017, so we would want our nanny to be comfortable with driving our daughter to and from the location and even partaking depending on the type of place we end up at. We are currently looking into outdoor/forest schools. The person must be open for the day to be shaped on what our daughter enjoys doing. Safety and time permitting, our daughters choices must be respected. Whether is it giving her choices regarding what she wears, what she eats and where you will spend the day, a respectful two way discussion is paramount. We want our daughters experiences prior to starting school to be mostly outdoors, with no enforced academia that will enable her to discover who she is and grow into a confident person. She will be able to study later on in life, but these early years are vitally important in shaping her confidence. We operate a no screen time rule for our daughter. A nannies philosophy on raising a child is more important to us than qualifications, however they must have references that back up their approach. Our current Nanny is happy to be a reference for us. Please visit www.canadiannanny.ca to view full details and to apply. FREE REGISTRATION and lots of jobs to choose from!

Mom hasn't figured out how to clone herself yet, so while that is in development, she needs a helping hand. You are: Easy going with a calm spirit and lots of patience. You don't lose your temper easily and have a sunny personality that is warm and cheerful. You are kind, caring, helpful and understanding. You are flexible with how you approach problems and you have experience with kids. You like to do activities with us and not just let us veg out on our screens because it's easier. You also have some quirks and are interesting with a great sense of humor. You are willing to take direction and learn about each of our needs. You have some experience with teenagers and their need for space but also know that we need to be drawn out into the family. You love to travel and go places with our family. You are willing to commit to at least a year, and live in is preferred. Mom would like someone who has the following attributes to the above requests from the kids: responsible, organized, compassionate, uses positive encouragement and positive behavioural support with kids. Has some understanding/experience of working with ADHD and/or related conditions. The job: Duties would include: Helping us get out the door to school; 3 kids, 3 different schools. Getting us home from school and going through our backpacks, agendas, homework and overseeing our chores and taking us at times to ballet, gymnastics, musical theatre, skiing/snowboarding, robotics, choir etc. Mom makes us do stuff for ourselves because she says it's important to becoming an adult but we still need some help in completing those tasks, for example we do laundry on Thursdays/Fridays and we each bring our hampers to the laundry room. Mom does the laundry, but then we are expected to put it away with some help. Mom made us a chore chart which you can help oversee and she loves to be organized! Since it's a busy house, we all pitch in, and you would be expected to help some with keeping on top of light housekeeping; vacuuming the floors, dusting, occasional meal prep, errand running, organization of toys/games/kids rooms and helping mom with some organization around the house. We also have two very sweet dogs (dachshunds), very low key, who like attention as well. We are set up with a payroll company and we are offering a competitive salary, depending on experience. We can discuss during the interview. For live in: We have a lovely furnished room downstairs, that has a separate entrance and a bathroom. We also have a car for you to use to transport the kids to activities. If this sounds like you, please contact our family! We would love to find our nanny soon! Soon to be busier household needs nanny/housekkeper (CanadianNanny.ca) - Mission, British Columbia (BC)
(Child Care) We're looking for a long-term nanny/ housekeeper for a busy household. We have a one-year-old boy part-time, but are expecting twins in July. Two great kids, a few hours, two days a week - Nanny Wanted (CanadianNanny.ca) - Vancouver, British Columbia (BC)
(Child Care) I'm a work-from-home Mom who needs some time to work from home! I need a fun, energetic person to hang out with my little girl and boy (3 and 1) either in our home or for a brief outing for 2.5-3 hours just two days a week. Obviously we'd prefer someone with some experience with little ones, but the main criteria is that you genuinely enjoy their company. My three-year-old is a total hoot and seems to be done with all that terrible two craziness - a pleasure to be with. She's also bilingual french-english as my husband is francophone. Our one-year-old boy is changing so much I don't really know how to describe him; he's sweet and madly in love with his sister, so when the two of them are together it's easy to keep him entertained. We only watch short videos for a special treat so media isn't a big part of their days. Our daughter loves music and dancing, playing make-believe with her figurines and stuffies, reading books and doing crafts. The little one just goes along (and is actually relatively good at playing on his own). Ideally we would find someone who is looking to supplement other income or is a student with a few mornings free and able to commit to some regularity.
